Abstract:Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of MRI and DWI sequence with multi b value in the diagnosis of high
voltage electrical injury of limbs in rabbits. Methods A total of 30 clean rabbits were randomly divided into case group (n=16) and
imaging group (n=14). One rabbit in case group was killed at 2, 24, 48 and 72 h after high-voltage shock, and pathological sections
and HE staining were performed. The apparent diffusion coeffecient (ADC) values of different sections of knee joint muscle injury in
different time after high-voltage electric shock was detected by MRI scan combined with Multi-b value DWI and enhanced scaning.
Results After high-voltage electric injury, the soft tissue of knee joint presented three states: complete necrosis, partial necrosis and
soft tissue edema. After electric injury, the limb of rabbit was swelled, as well as the subcutaneous soft tissue. The subcutaneous fluid
was accumulated, and the diffuse T2 signal range in the limb soft tissue signal was slightly longer. The higher the b value, the lower
the ADC value丨 ADC value of deep, shallow and edge of the injury area gradually decreased丨 48 hours after electric injury, the ADC
values of 600, 800, 1000 and 1200 s/mm2 were lower than those of b=400 s/mm2 (P<0.05). Conclusion MRI combined with multi
b-value DWI sequence can effectively diagnose the soft tissue injury of high voltage electrical injury in the limbs of rabbits.
