Objective Through the use of two-dimensional code technology for fine management of medical records, so as to improve
the quality and efficiency of medical record management. Methods With the help of mobile Internet and mobile terminal, twodimensional
code technology was introduced into the workflow of medical record management, such as recovery, quality control,
coding, shelving, borrowing, returning and copying. Results After using the tracer system, the average filing rate of discharged
medical records in 3 working days was 90.36%, while the average filing rate of discharged medical records in 3 months before
using the tracer system was only 35.53%, and there was statistical difference between the two (P<0.05). Meanwhile, the return rate
of borrowed medical records within 3 working days gradually increased to about 53% after the early warning module went online.
Conclusion The use of two-dimensional code saves the working time and energy of medical record managers, and the medical
record data can better meet the needs of application and circulation. It really improves the quality and efficiency of medical record
management, and provides technical support for the efficient operation of the hospital as a whole.
