Abstract:Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is an acute inflammatory lung injury disease with high mortality. At present,
the only effective treatment for ARDS is mechanical ventilation, in which positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP) plays an important
role. Existing imaging methods for evaluating PEEP titration in ARDS patients with mechanical ventilation include computed
tomography, digital radiography, electrical impedance tomography, and lung ultrasound. In this paper, the research status of PEEP
titration in ARDS patients with mechanical ventilation was summarized, which is helpful for clinicians to grasp the development
status of the technology, improve the level of clinical decision-making, and promote the progress of medical technology.
