Abstract:The compensating impedance technology is one of the important functions of automated external defibrillator (AED). This
paper first introduced the basic knowledge of AED and compensating impedance technology, and briefly discussed the theoretical
basis of impedance compensation, and analyzed the advantage of impedance compensation technology based on defibrillating current.
Then, the principle and implementation methods of impedance compensation technologies for several mainstream AEDs were
introduced in detail, and they were briefly compared and analyzed. Finally, the shortcomings of the existing impedance compensation
strategies were discussed, and several suggestions for future improvement of impedance compensation strategies have been proposed.
This paper has certain reference significance for the research of impedance compensation technology.
