Abstract:Objective To develop an integrated monitoring system with high comfort and data analysis accuracy for sleep apnea
syndrome (SAS), and provide a feasible scheme for clinical screening of SAS. Methods The prototype was composed of ATMega328
main control chip and integrated signal acquisition module, which completed the acquisition, filtering, amplification, analog-todigital
conversion of the original signal, and transmited the data to the analysis system through the low-power bluetooth system.
The system was based on the signal processing technology of convolutional neural networks long short-term memory algorithm to
identify sleep stages and respiratory events, and calculated sleep apnea hypopnea index (AHI) according to SAS diagnostic criteria
and established an early warning mechanism. Results The subjects felt comfortable, and there were few connecting wires. There was
no difference in sleep state and peacetime. By comparing the data analyzed by experts, polysleeper and the device, it showed that the
average accuracy of sleep staging was 77.3%, the sensitivity was 82.0%, the specificity was 73.2%, the coincidence of respiratory
event markers was high and the difference of AHI results was small. Conclusion The device can effectively monitor sleep breathing
data, and has the ability of early warning, which is suitable for low-cost early screening of SAS related diseases.
