Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of the auxiliary positioning function cPosition and the treatment real-time monitoring
function cMotion in surface guided radiation therapy (SGRT) on intensity-modulated radiotherapy in breast-conserving breast cancer
patients. Methods Before treatment, the body surface marking line was used for positioning, then cPosition was used for auxiliary
positioning, and finally the cone beam CT (CBCT) was used for body position verification. The bed value after the two positioning
methods and the body position error data after CBCT calibration were recorded respectively. Pearson correlation and sample t-test
analysis were performed to observe and analyze the patient’s displacement error during the cMotion process. Results The positioning
of the body surface marking line and the auxiliary positioning of cPosition in the anterior posterior (AP), superior inferior (SI) and left
right (LR), rotation, rollover and Pitch positioning error t values were -3.438, -4.895, -3.473, -1.811, -3.608 and 4.273 respectively,
and the first five items were all P<0.05. Pearson correlation analysis of CBCT correction and cPosition auxiliary positioning
correction function in Catalyst HD, the correlations in AP, SI, and LR directions all showed extremely high correlation, and the
Pitch direction showed low correlation. Conclusion The use of cPosition correction in the four directions of AP, SI, LR, and Pitch is
significantly better than the application of marker line positioning. In Catalyst HD, there is a high consistency between cPosition and
CBCT correction, which reduces the use of CBCT to a certain extent and reduces the patients’ radiation dose. In cMotion, the beam
current can be controlled according to the patient’s breathing movement and involuntary movement to ensure the treatment accuracy
during the treatment process.
