Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical value of color Doppler ultrasound combined with molybdenum target X-ray and MRI
in the diagnosis of early breast cancer. Methods A total of 53 patients with suspected early breast cancer who were admitted to our
hospital were selected. They were examined by color Doppler ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and molybdenum
target X-ray. With pathological results as the golden standard, the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of color Doppler ultrasound,
molybdenum target X-ray, and their combination with MRI were compared. Results The diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and
accuracy of color Doppler ultrasound for early breast cancer were 77.78%, 87.50% and 79.25%. Those of molybdenum target X-ray
were 82.22%, 75.00% and 81.13%, of MRI were 95.56%, 87.50% and 94.34%, and of color doppler ultrasound combined with
molybdenum target X-ray were 91.11%, 100.00% and 92.45%. The Kappa values were larger than 0.4. The sensitivity and accuracy
of MRI were significantly higher than those of color doppler ultrasound or molybdenum target X-ray for diagnosis of early breast
cancer (P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference in sensitivity, specificity or accuracy between MRI and color Doppler
ultrasound combined with mammography (P>0.05). Conclusion Molybdenum target X-ray combined with color Doppler ultrasound
can achieve equivalent accuracy to MRI. Therefore, the diagnostic method should be chosen according to the patient’s actual
condition.
