Abstract:Objective To explore the feasibility of establishing bilioenteric anastomosis by magnetic ring in rat model. Methods A new magnamosis ring suitable for rat bilioenteric anastomosis model was designed and fabricated. 10 male Sprague-Dawley albino rats were ligated with common bile duct and dilated after 2 weeks. The operation of bilioenteric anastomosis was completed by magnetic ring. The anastomosis time, postoperative survival rate and complications were recorded. After 28 days, anastomotic specimens were obtained to observe healing with the naked eye. Results Among the 10 Sprague-Dawley albino rats, 1 rat died of bile leakage 1 week after ligation of common bile duct. 1 was removed from the experiment because there was no obvious dilatation of the common bile duct. The remaining 8 rats successfully completed the operation of bilioenteric anastomosis with magnetic ring, with an average anastomosis time of (5.22±1.83) min. The bilioenteric anastomosis specimens were obtained 28 days after the operation, and macroscopic observation showed that the mucosal layer of the anastomosis had good continuity and the anastomosis was smooth. Conclusion Magnetic ring can be used to construct rat bilioenteric anastomosis model which has the advantages of simple operation and reliable anastomosis effect.
