Abstract:Objective To explore the feasibility of magnetic anchoring device in assisting trocar-less laparoscopic hysterectomy.
Methods Four healthy female Beagle dogs were used as models, and the magnetic anchoring device designed and developed
by ourselves was used to complete the canine hysterectomy by two-ports method. The operation time, blood loss, and the
operation convenience evaluated by the surgeon were recorded. Results Four Beagle dogs successfully completed the twoports laparoscopic hysterectomy with the aid of magnetic anchoring device. The operation time was 27-51 min, the blood loss
was less than 20 mL. During the operation, the use of titanium alloy tissue forceps could successfully achieve the clamping and
release of the internal grasping forceps. The internal grasping forceps had no complications, such as slippage and tissue damage
after clamping the tissue. The internal grasping forceps could fully reveal the surgical field under the pull anchor of the external
anchoring magnet. Conclusion Magnetic anchoring device can provide good surgical field exposure and tissue pulling for the
trocar-less laparoscopic hysterectomy, which has great clinical application value.
