Abstract:The research and development of the third-generation magnetic levitation artificial heart has pushed the treatment of heart
failure to a new level and also promoted the development of magnetic levitation technology (MLT) in the field of medical device
research and development. The core of MLT is to use the repulsive force between magnets to solve clinical problems caused by
excessive mechanical contact force and friction. Combined with domestic and foreign literature, the application of MLT in medical
device research and development was reviewed in this paper. In general, MLT has shown obvious advantages in solving the existing
problems of artificial hearts, joints, and cervical spine, and has great potential for future development in other clinical fields.
