Abstract:Objective To design a device for treating congenital anal atresia based on magnetic compression technology. Methods
Firstly, the characteristics of congenital anorectal atresia were analyzed. Then, a minimally invasive magnetic compression device
for anorectal atresia recanalization was designed by combining with the principle of magnetic compression techniques. Results
A puncture path was established between the anal point and the blind end of the rectum by designing a special shape of magnetic
compression anastomosis device. The spindle magnet was placed in the blind end of the rectum. The cylindrical parent magnet with
sink hole matched with the daughter magnet was placed in the anal cavity. The parent magnet was sucked and compressed to achieve
the anastomosis of anal atresia. Conclusion The design is performed based on the principle of magnetic compression anastomosis. It
has the advantages of ingenious design, simple operation, small trauma and high safety. It has great clinical value.
