Peer Review Process

Peer Review Policy

In order to ensure the correctness of the publishing direction and the excellence of the publishing quality, Journal of China Medical Devices always adheres to the various ethical norms of publishing by domestic and foreign editorial groups, and carefully constructs a rigorous peer review system.

A. Manuscript requirements

Authors submitting manuscripts to this journal must confirm the originality of the content of the manuscript, that is, the submitted manuscript must be the result of independent writing after consulting relevant materials. At the same time, all submitted manuscripts must be evaluated and reviewed by reviewers in the same field, and must be qualified by peer review before publication in this journal.

B. Peer review process

Peer review process: Format review → Initial review → Peer review → Rejection or revision → Review → Final review.

Note: The journal is in strict accordance with the review process, and does not make a commitment to the specific receipt time of manuscripts, subject to the quality of manuscripts to meet the publication requirements.

C. Type of peer review

The journal adopts single-blindness, that is, the author does not know the name of the peer reviewer, and the reviewer knows the author's name, organization and other information.

D. the basic conditions of peer review reviewers

1. Good moral character, rigorous style of study, serious and responsible, with a high academic level of medical professional.

2. Have the title of deputy senior or above.

3. The first person in charge of the fund project at the provincial or ministerial level or above.

4. Voluntarily apply to join, and willing to undertake the obligation of the reviewer of this journal.

E. Responsibilities of peer reviewers

1. Check the Invitation Letter for Submission of Manuscripts in the mailbox in time, log in to the online review system, and decide whether to accept the review invitation. If accepting the review, submit objective, fair, impartial, detailed and clear review comments on time; If you do not accept the review, please click "I do not accept the review invitation" and recommend a suitable reviewer.

2. Alert editors to possible ethical issues (e.g. for human or animal research) or other findings.

3. Remind the editor that the reviewed manuscript is too similar to the published manuscript or the manuscript that has been submitted.

4. Make an overall evaluation of the manuscript, fill in the reviewer form, and give comprehensive opinions: publish, publish after revision, review after revision, and reject the manuscript.

5. Keep the content and review results of the manuscript confidential, while maintaining scientific ethics, and prohibit the use of the content and data in the manuscript review before publication.

6. Take the initiative to inform the editorial department whether there is any interest involved in reviewing the manuscript, and refuse to review the manuscript if there is any conflict of interest.

7. It is forbidden to contact the author privately or discuss the manuscript directly with the author.

8. Explain the uncertain issues in the manuscript.
