Abstract

Objective To increase the image quality through the improvement of atlantoaxial joint opening in children with tic disorders. Methods The atlantoaxial joint opening image quality of 60 children with tic disorders in the Department of Medicine and Rehabilitation were collected These were compared and analyzed through the conventional and the improved radiography. The images were divided into grade A and non-grade A films. Results The rate of grade A film in the improved method group was 76.67%, better than that in the conventional method group (45.00%). Conclusion It is recommended to use the improved method for the atlantoaxial joint opening examination in children with tic disorders. It is more conducive to clinical diagnosis.
