Objective To reasonably transform the process of admission and discharge in the traditional mode of public hospitals, improve the medical treatment environment of patients, reduce the waiting time, improve the service level and service experience, improve the efficiency of patients’ hospitalization, and improve the patient satisfaction. Methods By consulting the literature, we could understand the current situation of “Internet plus” hospitalization, and broaden the train of thought through the visit of the wisdom hospital. We should use the information technology and “Internet plus” technology to realize the transformation of hospitalization treatment process. Results By optimizing the process of admission and discharge, reforming the inpatient nurse station system, we could realize the process of admission and discharge in the ward, reduce the number of patients going back and forth between the ward and department of admission and discharge, and reduce the waiting time for patients to queue up for payment. Conclusion By means of information technology, combined with the optimization of hospital admission and discharge process, the nurse station system in the ward is transformed, so that the ward is no longer a simple treatment place, but a place integrating admission, treatment and discharge services. It reflected that modern medical care is people-centered, improved patient experience and improved patient satisfaction.
