Abstract

Objective To improve work efficiency, improve patient satisfaction and ensure patient safety by studying the wireless call system in the medical linear accelerator room and reforming and upgrading the intercom system in the existing room. Methods The problems and shortcomings of the intercom system in the medical linear accelerator room were analyzed, the characteristics of wireless signals were studied, and the structure of the medical linear accelerator room was combined. Using the method of questionnaire sampling, the satisfaction of patients, staff and the content design of the system were investigated. Results The application of wireless call system in medical linear accelerator room had completed the transformation and upgrading of the response system in seven existing rooms.The satisfaction of patients and staff reached over 90%. Conclusion The results show that the wireless call system can communicate reliably in the high radiation protection environment of medical linear accelerator room and meet the needs of clinical radiotherapy. The system is conducive to improving work efficiency, reducing staff intensity, improving patient satisfaction, reducing the occurrence of medical accidents, and has extremely high practical value in ensuring radiotherapy equipment and patient safety during treatment.
