Objective Through the analysis of the research background of the use and management of high-value consumables under the new situation, the problems and reasons of the use of high-value consumables were analyzed. Besides, the methods and strategies were put forward. Methods A series of processes including import, use, management and export of high value consumables were analyzed. Results The analysis showed that lack of management mechanism was the key reason during the use and management, especially in information tube separation, consumables, and departments use. Conclusion We should start with the characteristics of high value consumables, strictly control the bidding and purchasing, import and exit customs, business accounting, to reduce the medical negligence, and improve the management quality, so as to improve the overall competitiveness of hospital.
