Abstract
Objective To explore a more effective way of cleaning and disinfection and sterilization, and to ensure the cleaning
and sterilization quality and avoid the occurrence of hospital infection. Methods A total of 300 neonatal department suction bulb
which were used from April to June in 2016 were divided into experimental group (improved neonatal inhalation) and control
group (pre-modified neonatal sucker), and 150 pieces in each group. After the two groups were cleaned and disinfected, the visual
method, white cloth or long cotton swab test method was used to detect the disinfection effect of those methods. Then the detection
of pathogenic bacteria and the total number of bacteria were detected according to the disinfection technical specification (2002
edition). The sterilization effect was carried out in accordance with the monitoring method of sterilization effect of medical devices
in the technical specification for disinfection (2011). Finally, the gap between the sterilization and sterilization rate was compared
between the two groups after the examination. Results The comparison results between the two groups of neonatal absorbance
cleaning quality showed that the number of qualified suction balls was 150 and 149 respectively when the visual method was used,
and the two groups were not statistically significant (P>0.05), the two groups of qualified numbers were 149 and 127 respectively
when white cloth strips or long cotton swabs was used, and the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). The two groups
of qualified numbers were 150 and 118 respectively when the ATP bioluminescence detection method were used, and the two
groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). The results showed that the qualified rate of sterilization and sterilization was 99%
and 100% in the experimental group, and 79% and 88% in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).
Conclusion The improved neonatal inhalation is better than before in cleaning and sterilization, which indicates that improved
neonatal aspiration is more suitable for clinical practice.
