医用直线加速器是实现远距离放射治疗的最常用设备。瓦里安医用直线加速器系列机型，采用的多是叶光栅准直器（MLC）。MLC系统机械结构紧凑精密，电路控制设计复杂，故障率较高，医院工程技术人员很有必要了解并掌握MLC系统工作原理及维修方法。
