Abstract:This paper introduced the characteristics of the GE FASTlab2 chemical synthesis module, and lists 3 typical failures
occurred during the pre synthesis module self inspection, initial nuclide reception, and synthesis reaction of the chemical synthesis
module during the production of 18F-2-deoxy-D-glucose (18F-FDG) radiopharmaceuticals. Through fault analysis and separate testing
of corresponding components, abnormal components were identified and replaced. Mastering the structure, working principle and
operation process of the chemical synthesis module and doing routine maintenance are of great significance to reduce the failure rate.
