Abstract:Objective To develop the whole process automation system of nucleic acid group inspection for the units that regularly
conduct full nucleic acid detection, to realize the automation of the whole process of nucleic acid detection from sampling to mobile
phone viewing report. Methods PowerBuilder programming tool and adaptive server anywhere (ASA) database were used to develop
the system. Personal information was stored in ASA database in the form of dictionary. The code scanner scanned the QR code in the
mobile phone, and completed a series of operations such as automatic registration, automatic billing, intelligent grouping, automatic
printing of test tube bar code, and automatic transmission of sampling information to laboratory information system (LIS), and then
LIS generated nucleic acid inspection report according to test tube information and test results. Results The system realized the
automation and information in the whole process of nucleic acid detection from sampling to viewing the report. The total time was
significantly shorter than that of manual method (P<0.05), and the work efficiency of nucleic acid sampling was increased by 82%
compared with that of manual method. Conclusion The whole process automation system of nucleic acid group inspection can meet
the needs of nucleic acid group inspection, greatly facilitate the inspection personnel, and improve the work efficiency of all links of
nucleic acid inspection, which is worthy of popularization.
