Abstract：In order to optimize transfusion management process, reduce medical errors and accidents, process is improved and added with series of new functions based on the existing transfusion management information system. In addition, it is upgraded to match the subsystem of personal digital assistant portable transfusion management software. The upgraded system improves transfusion condition, ensures medical safety and quality and increases nurses’ working efficiency. Refined management of controlled and traceable transfusion process is achieved to facilitate patient transfusion.
