Abstract:Objective To develop a routine medical asset management system so as to provide tracking
management for routine medical asset based on the hospital routine medical asset management
situation. Methods We analyzed the problems of the hospital routine medical asset management, and
established a small database with the spreadsheet. The article used brother 9500 label printer to print
various types of routine medical instrument management tags. We used the handheld instrument to
scan QR code, while getting the routine medical instruments information and realizing various types
of medical equipment data acquisition. We used mixed language programming as leading ideas to
develop a routine medical asset management system. Results The system is simple to operate and to a
great extent solve the problems of routine medical asset management, problems such as inconsistency
in account management and the ambiguity in the number of devices, and so on. The system enables
the bidirectional traceability management of medical equipment. Conclusion With the system, we
can improve or solve many problems in the conventional medical instrument management under the
traditional model, which is of certain reference value.
