Abstract:Objective To verify the clinical feasibility of the Triniti respiratory gating system by analyzing the respiratory motion
waveform and 4DCT image consistency collected under the Triniti respiratory gating system and abdominal pressure belt. Methods The
CIRS 18023-A respiratory motion model and supporting CIRS Motion Control software were used, the simulated standard respiratory
movement and the respiratory movement curve of real patients were imported to simulate the cycle, amplitude and frequency of
respiratory movement in human respiratory movement, and the different respiratory movement models were generated, and CT scans
were triggered by two respiratory movement signals based on abdominal pressure belt and Triniti respiratory gating system, and the
consistency of 4DCT triggered by the two devices was analyzed. Finally, according to the respiratory movement tracked by the Triniti
system, the gating range was set to achieve gating treatment. Results The correlation of respiratory movement waveform curves
collected by the two respiratory movement signal detection devices was more than 0.8 (P<0.001), and the measurement difference of the
region of interest in each phase of the 4DCT image was (0.065±0.069) cm, with no statistical significance (P>0.05). Conclusion The
Triniti respiratory gating system based on infrared camera device can track respiration with high precision and realize clinical respiratory
gating treatment, thus effectively reduce the impact of respiratory movement on radiotherapy.
