Abstract:Objective Based on the DRG grouping, a retrospective analysis was conducted on the consumption of consumables for
tumor surgery patients in a tumor hospital in Zhejiang Province. Methods The medical records of surgical patients from January
2020 to June 2021 in a tertiary first-class hospital in Zhejiang Province were selected to calculate the tumor surgery DRG with high
consumption ratio. Independent sample t-test, chi-square test, multiple linear regression and other methods were used to analyze
the usage of the same DRG consumables. Results The use of stapler cartridges and hemostatic materials were the main influencing
factors of hospitalization expenses. The hospitalization cost and the number of staple cartridges used for patients using 60 staple
cartridges were relatively low, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was a significant positive correlation
between the amount of hemostatic material used and the utilization rate, and the average dispersion coefficient of hemostatic material
per operation was large. Conclusion To popularize the use of 60 staple cartridges, standardize the use of hemostatic materials and
reduce the consumption of hemostatic powder have certain reference significance to control the cost of consumables.
