Abstract:Objective To design a Wi-Fi remote control and time-delay exposure device for mobile digital radiography (DR) equipment, in order to avoid medical staff from X-ray exposure and improve the work efficiency of mobile DR. Methods The
exposure command was sent by the popular smart phone in the market, the remote control signal was transmitted by Wi-Fi, and the delay time was controlled by single chip microcomputer, so as to realize one touch Wi-Fi remote control and delayed exposure.
Results When the exposure instruction was sent by the mobile APP, the buzzer would give an alarm immediately to remind the patients to make preparations such as closing the breath. After 2 s, the ready signal arrived to mobile DR equipment. 3.5 s later, the
exposure signal arrived to mobile DR equipment, and 4.5 s later, the exposure was completed and the buzzer stopped alarming at the same time. The remote control signal was stable and the delay control was accurate. Conclusion Compared with the traditional
exposure device of mobile DR equipment, this device has the advantages of high efficiency, stable performance and more security, and has a good application value.
