Abstract:Objective By comparing and analyzing the temperature characteristics of A and B brands of infant incubators, we attempt
to explore the differences between them in temperature indexes, and provide a basis for clinical use and equipment procurement
selection. Methods We selected 10 infant incubators which were put into use in 2007, to analyze their quality control data from 2012
to 2016 using MATLAB. We mainly analyzed the temperature deviations, temperature fluctuations, temperature uniformity of two
brands. In addition, the probability distribution of the heating time and the alarm temperature was analyzed by the Kolmokov-Smiroff
test to estimate the distribution interval. Results Comparing with the A brand, it was found that the B brand of infant incubators
showed better temperature characteristics, with a shorter and more concentrated heating time and a lower power-off protection
temperature. Therefore, the B brand had better temperature stability and safety than the A brand. Conclusion In the bidding
procurement, the selection of the B brand incubators is more in line with the clinical requirements for equipment quality.
