Abstract:Objective In order to prevent the occurrence of adverse events of medical endoscopes, electrical safety detection was
carried out. Methods According to the requirements of the general electric safety testing standard for BF medical equipment,
electrical safety testing on 10 medical endoscopes was conducted using the Fluke ESA620 electrical safety detector. The parameters
included protective grounding impedance, insulation impedance, ground leakage current, shell leakage current, patient leakage
current. Results At present, the electrical safety parameters of 10 medical endoscopes used in our hospital were all qualified, and
the endoscopes could run well. Conclusion Electrical safety detection should be performed throughout the life cycle management of
medical endoscopes to effectively prevent the occurrence of adverse events and improve medical quality.
