Abstract:ObjectiveTo discuss the possibility of periodical inspection for partial quality control of linear accelerator by combining homemade verification tool and the image guided radiation therapy system. Methods Putting verification plate according to different purposes under conditions that beam central axis was perpendicular to verification plate. Different exposure technique and image acquisition mode were used to capture images of the quality control verification of accelerator.ResultsThe difference between the cross image center and beam axis or reference image center is no more than 2 mm.ConclusionThe method is accurate, economical and practical, and also easy to operate in the application of quality control project inspection of the linear accelerator.
