Abstract:The application and research of 3D printing technology in the current medical field is changing the diagnosis, treatment and
operation mode in the field of spinal surgerydiseases, which makes spinal surgery safer, more refined and more effective. This paper
briefly introduced the development history of 3D printing technology and printing process, expounded the status of its application
in the field of spine surgery, and analyzed the technology in the spine preoperative evaluation and planning, cut bone plate printing,
guiding nailing support, custom individualized implants, and biological printing technology advantage. Through the summary of the
characteristics of the technology, it pointed out the problems of 3D printing technology in the aspects of high cost, high time cost
and high precision printing丨 and discussed the intelligent operation process, accurate printing of complex spinal models, repair and
regeneration of bone tissue defects whihcwill be the research hotspots in the future.
