Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of double low-dose combined with iterative reconstruction (iDose4) on image quality
and radiation dose of artery CT pulmonary angiography (CTPA). Methods A total of 54 patients with CTPA were prospectively
collected and randomly divided into experimental group: 80 kVp, iDose4 reconstruction, contrast iodine concentration 320 mgI/mL丨and control group: 120 kVp, FPB reconstruction, contrast iodine concentration 320 mgI/mL, 27 cases in each group. The differences
of image subjective score, arterial CT value, CTDIvol, DLP between the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results The CT
value of each segment of pulmonary artery in the double low-dose group were higher than those in control group (P>0.05). The
CTDIvol and DLP values in double-low dose group were lower than those in control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The use of low
concentration iodine contrast agent, low tube voltage combined with iDose4 technology for CTPA examination can not only obtain
better image quality, but also significantly reduce radiation dose and contrast agent dosage.
