Abstract:Objective To explore application value of united imaging AI-assisted compressed sensing (ACS) in T2WI imaging
of cervical cancer in image quality and shortening scanning time. Methods The conventional T2WI and ACS T2WI MRI
examinations of 30 cervical patients confirmed by surgery and pathology were collected before surgery. The signal to noise ratio (SNR),
contrast to noise ratio (CNR) and scanning times of two groups were measured. Meanwhile, the double-blind method was used
to score the two groups of images subjectively on the sharpness, deformation, artifacts, and lesion display with a 4-point scale.
The Kappa test was used to evaluate the consistency of the image quality scores of different technicians. The subjective scores
of image quality (including sharpness, distortion, artifacts, and lesion display) between the two groups were statistically analyzed
by Wilcoxon’s rank sum test. The objective scores of image quality (SNR, CNR) and scanning time between the two groups were
statistically analyzed by paired t-test. Results The measurement results and subjective scores of the two technicians were in good
agreement (P>0.05). There was no statistical significance between two groups in SNR (9.21±2.41) between ACS T2WI and
conventional T2WI (8.15±2.45) (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in CNR (0.27±0.13) between ACS T2WI and
conventional T2WI (0.33±0.12) (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the total subjective score of image quality between
ACS T2WI and conventional T2WI (P>0.05). The scanning time of ACS T2WI is 41 s, which is much shorter than the conventional
T2WI scanning time of 116 s. Conclusion ACS technology can greatly reduce scanning time without sacrificing image quality.
