Abstract:In recent years, the technology of brachytherapy for cervical cancer has made great progress. It realized the leap from
two-dimensional brachytherapy to three-dimensional brachytherapy, and gradually tried three-dimensional adaptive brachytherapy,
namely four-dimensional brachytherapy. In terms of image guidance, it has realized the leap from CT image-guided to MR imageguided
brachytherapy. This paper summarized the development of source applicators in high-dose-rate brachytherapy for cervical
cancer in recent years, and related technical changes in clinical operation, image acquisition and applicator reconstruction.
