Abstract:Coronary heart disease is a common cardiovascular disease. Intracoronary stent implantation is a common method for
the treatment of CHD. However, stent stenosis and late thrombosis affect the long-term efficacy and safety of stents, which limit
the application of stents. This study mainly introduced the characteristics of bioabsorbable polymer stent and bioabsorbable metal
stent: the stents provide radial support for the blood vessel at the early stage of implantation, prevent the elastic retraction of the
blood vessel, and after the complete absorption in the later stage, the binding of the blood vessel is released, thus effectively reducing
the restenosis rate and the formation of thrombosis. This paper reviewed the development history of bioabsorbable scaffolds with
different materials, and briefly describes future development trend of bioabsorbable scaffolds technology, so as to provide reference
for future research.
