Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application value of bedside photography by using visualized wireless mobile DR and traditional mobile DR in screening of patients who are infected with corona virus. Methods A total number of 1370 frontalchest
images (the number of images taken by visualized wireless mobile DR and traditional mobile DR images were 410 and 960 respectively) which were taken from January 21st to February 29th, 2020 for the screening of corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
by mobile DR in our hospital were collected. The χ2 test was used to compare the excellent-film rate and the incidence of the factors affecting the quality of images between visualized wireless mobile DR and traditional mobile DR. Results The excellent-film rate
of visualized mobile DR (402/410, 98.0 %) was significantly higher than that of traditional mobile DR (907/960, 94.5 %) ( χ2=2.392, P=0.02). The incidence of position-related factors affecting the quality of images of visualized mobile DR (1.2%) was significantly
lower than that of traditional mobile DR (3.4 %) ( χ2=3.279, P=0.013). Conclusion The image quality of chest X-ray of mobile DR meet the diagnostic requirements in COVID-19 screening, and the application of visualized wireless mobile DR can improve the
image quality.
