Abstract:Objective To test the clinical application efficacy of two defibrillation monitors in psychiatric hospital through quality control. Methods Using the FLUKE defibrillation analyzer to test 16 defibrillation monitors from two brands, which are purchased
by our hospital at the same time, including monitors’ appearances and normal detection, release of energy accuracy, charging time, synchronization delay time and heart rate indication. Results Except one American A defibrillator failed the energy release test,
the others are all 100%. Conclusion By comparing and analyzing the results of quality control test and combining the experience of psychiatric clinic, Shanghai B defibrillator is more stable, effective and safer than American A defibrillation monitor in terms of
accuracy of energy release and charging time, meaning it is more suitable for psychiatric hospital clinic use.
