Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of 3D speckle tracking imaging in evaluation of changes of cardiac function in
pregnancy-induced hypertension patients in pregnancy. Methods A total of 374 full-term single pregnant women selected from the
hospital from Jan in 2018 to December in 2019, and a questionnaire survey was conducted, including 187 cases in normal pregnancy
group, 187 cases in Hypertensive disorders complicating pregnancy group. Two groups of left ventricular conventional data were
collected, and the imaging were analyzed by 3D-STI. The global longitudinal peak strain (GLS), global radial peak strain (GRS),
global circumferential peak strain (GCS) were measured. Results Compared with controls, GLS, GRS and GCS reduced markedly
in pre-HT group (all P<0.05). Compared with control group, HR, LVIDd, IVSd, LVPWd, EDV, CO increased markedly in pre-HT
group (P<0.05). There were no significant difference of ESV、LVEF (%) between pre-HT group and controls (P>0.05). Conclusion
The early application of 3D-STI in PIH patients can effectively observe left ventricular torsion and rotation motion, facilitate early
evaluation of cardiac function of pregnancy-induced hypertension patients.
