Abstract:Objective To evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the Synergy accelerator-based system for stereotactic radiotherapy
system of dual camera 2 mm stereotactic radiosurgery (D2SRS). Methods First, the mechanical accuracy of the Synergy accelerator
was tested to determine whether the current state of the accelerator met the installation requirements of the D2SRS system and related
radiotherapy techniques. Then, the multi-leaf collimator (MLC) system, the image guidance system and the treatment plan system
of the D2SRS system were tested to determine the reliability and accuracy of their clinical implementation. Results The accelerator
performance test parameters were in accordance with the corresponding standards. The maximum deviation from baseline was found
when the rock was at 150° (0.9 mm) and the small head was at 30° (0.8 mm) in the isocentrial rotation test of the rack and small
head. The external hanging MLC had no effect on its accuracy. The precision of all parameters of the D2SRS system was within
the required range, and there was no deviation between the MLC and the accelerator center. The position accuracy verification test
showed that the maximum deviation was 0.7 mm in the position of (-5,-3). The D2SRS system had the precondition of implementing
stereotactic radiotherapy. Conclusion The test results of the current state of the accelerator and the D2SRS system generally meet the
clinical requirements, and can be used for the treatment of patients on the basis of routine quality control.Key words: dual camera 2
