Abstract:Objective To design a non-contact bedside alarm device for monitoring sleep apnea. Methods The system hardware
mainly included biological radar sensor, single chip microcomputer, bluetooth module, LED lamp and buzzer. Android APP software
was used for data processing, display and alarm condition judgment. The device collected respiratory and heartbeat signals through
non-contact biological radar sensor. After the AD conversion of the microcomputer, the data were packaged and sent wirelessly
to the mobile APP via bluetooth module. Results The monitoring and alarm device was successfully developed in this study. The
effective detection range of the device was more than 2 m with high reliability (accuracy up to 96%). Conclusion This system can
effectively solve the basic needs of users for monitoring and early warning sleep apnea, and fit the actual life of users, which has
broad application potential and market prospect.
