Abstract:Siemens 64-slice CT machine is a common inspection equipment in hospitals at the present stage. By analyzing the basic
working principle of the high voltage generator and the basic structure of the ball tube, two cases of suspected ball tube failure in CT
machine were interpreted in this paper. After analysis and troubleshooting, we found that the faults were the damage of the inverter
capacitance, the lack of thermal silicone grease between the rotating positive drive board, and the CT machine returned to normal
operation by timely replacing the capacitance and reapplying the thermal silicone grease. The troubleshooting method mentioned in
this paper can effectively avoid the occurrence of sudden replacement of the ball tube and save the maintenance cost for the hospital.
This troubleshooting method can also be used for troubleshooting other suspected high-value medical equipment spare parts in case
of failure, to reduce the loss caused by replacement of spare parts.
