Abstract:Objective To provide a research basis for the development of portable blood oxygen saturation measuring instruments, we
will collect and analyze the relevant scientific literature and patent documents developed by the instrument to understand the current
status of such instruments, and to explore the development and problems. Methods The search terms and search patterns were
determined, and the scientific and technical literature and patent documents related to the portable blood oxygen saturation detector
were searched, and the documents were selected according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. The scientific literature
was analyzed from the technical characteristics, safety, adaptability, effectiveness, economy, technical social and ethical adaptability,
and the patent literature was analyzed from the application trend, patent life cycle, and technical classification. Results This study
included 17 scientific papers and 759 patent documents. At present, the instruments used in clinical applications had good accuracy
and stability, and were easy to use and carry. Moreover, the patents related to the instrument were mainly concentrated in the United
States. Conclusion Based on the analysis, it is suggested that the development direction of portable blood oxygen saturation monitor
can be used to enhance accuracy and reference to new technologies.
