Material Optimization Design of New Degradable Biliary Stent

Abstract:In order to increase the degradable degree of biliary stent and improve the situation of easy displacement and biliary
restenosis of current biliary stent, a novel degradable biliary stent was designed with TAXOL-P3/4HB-PCL, and the structural
parameter were established. A total of 5 diameters of biliary stent were designed according to the size of bile duct for adults
and children of different ages. The effect of P3/4HB-PCL on the proliferation of fibroblasts was valued by MTT method. The
degradability of P3/4HB-PCL was analyzed by immersing it in PBS buffer. The results showed that P3/4HB-PCL had slight reactivity
with fibroblasts, good biocompatibility and good degradability
