Abstract:In order to standardize the use of the artificial hand in medical electrical equipment electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
test, with nerve and muscle stimulators medical electrical equipment as a sample, this paper studied how the artificial hand affects
EMC testing firstly. Then, the comparison test from the use and layout of the artificial hand in conduction disturbance testing,
electrical fast transient immunity test and immunity to the conducted disturbance was carried out. In this paper, the circuit structure
and impedance characteristics were investigated after added the artificial hand. The standardized use of the artificial hand in EMC
test is helpful to simulate the medical electrical equipment used in clinic and reproducibility of the test results, which is of great
significance to standardize electromagnetic compatibility testing of medical electrical equipment.
