Abstract:The detection principle of traditional fatty liver detection technology, magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS), MR
Dixon technology based on chemical shift in fat quantitative was compared and analyzed. It was found that magnetic resonance fat
quantification technology is an important method for the analysis of fat deposition in patients with type 2 diabetes. Among them,
although 1
H-MRS technology was commonly used in clinical non-invasive fat quantification methods, their operation was complex
and current commercial available MRS technique in abdomen can only obtain signal of a single voxel, which cannot reflect fat
deposition of the whole target tissue. With the continuous improvement, MR Dixon technology has developed into a mature fat
quantification technology with simple operation and short scanning time. This paper summarizes the technical evaluation of 1
H-MRS
and MR Dixon in fat quantification and the application of 1
H-MRS and MR Dixon in the quantification of fat content in liver and
pancreas and complications of osteoporosis in type 2 diabetes mellitus, so as to provide assistance for the further study of type 2
diabetes mellitus.
