Abstract:Objective To design a system for evaluating the performance of ultrasound probes to facilitate performance testing
and quality control of clinical probes in use. Methods Based on ultrasonic pulse echo testing method, frequency domain analysis
and visualization technology were used to realize the detection of the main acoustic performance parameters of ultrasonic probe
such as signal sensitivity, central frequency and relative bandwidth. Results A set of ultrasonic probe clinical quality control and
performance testing system was designed, which could be used to test and evaluate the main performance parameters of the probe of
several manufacturers. Conclusion The ultrasonic probe detection system has high sensitivity and is easy to operate, and can be used
for the preventive detection of ultrasonic probe, which has important practical value for the daily quality control and performance
evaluation of ultrasonic diagnostic equipment.
