Comparative Evaluation of Image Quality of Superficial Basic Imaging of
Medical Ultrasonic Equipment

Abstract:Objective To compare the quality of superficial basic images of domestic and imported medical ultrasound equipment, this
study conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the medical ultrasound imaging system in multi-regional hospitals across the country.
Methods The basic superficial ultrasound image data of 209 subjects in 5 hospitals including Shanghai were analyzed. The trainee was
inspected the superficial surface of the same subject simultaneously with the domestic and imported equipment. After the inspection,
the image was uploaded to the data system. Results was scored with Likert scale and Wilcoxon rank sum test was used for statistical
analysis. Results Comparing the superficial basic image quality of domestic and imported equipment, the difference between the
two scores in most sections was not statistically significant. The scores of some basic images of domestic brands were higher, while
those of some sections were higher than those of imported devices, which were mainly reflected in color doppler function and detail
resolution, with statistically significant differences. Conclusion Through the comparative study of domestic and imported medical
ultrasonic equipment, we can objectively know the advantages and disadvantages of the superficial basic image quality of the domestic
medical ultrasonic equipment, and provide the basis and support for the development strategy of domestic medical ultrasonic equipment.
