Abstract:Objective To guide the medical engineering departments at all levels of medical and health institutions to purchase and
manage common medical protective products during coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Methods By referring to China’s
corresponding requirements, guidelines and product standards at home and abroad, this paper made a comparative study on the
definition, uses, use scope of different risk groups, and alternative reference scheme in case of material shortage of common medical
protection products. Results A set of recommendations on procurement and management of medical protective products during
COVID-19. Conclusion The paper will help medical and health institutions at all levels improve their ability to purchase, manage
and distribute emergency medical protective products during an epidemic, so as to ensure the safety of doctors and patients.
