Abstract:Objective To discuss the application effect of 8D method in solving the problem of excessive internal temperature
of ultrasound diagnostic instrument. Methods The study applied the 8D method, that was D1 form the team, D2 question
description, D3 implement temporary measures, D4 identify the root cause, D5 formulate and verify corrective actions,
D6 correct the problem, D7 prevent the problem, D8 congratulate the team, to improve the management of ultrasound
diagnostic instrument, and evaluate the situation of front-end and back-end and temperature faults of ultrasound diagnostic
instrument before and after activity. Results After this 8D activity, the probability of front-end and back-end faults and the
probability of temperature faults decreased significantly (P<0.05). Conclusion Application of 8D method can effectively solve
the problem of excessive internal temperature of ultrasonic diagnostic instrument.
