Abstract:Objective To ensure the quality of dialysis and patient safety in the hospital hemodialysis center. Methods This
paper introduced the failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) theory into the maintenance decision of the AK200S hemodialysis
machine, determined the failure mode of the failure in the form of a panel of experts and assess the potential risks. And found ways to
reduce their risk, apply it and continue to evaluate improvements. Results Post-fault corrective maintenance of the AK200S was
transformed into a preventive maintenance mode by the FMEA analysis method, and it effectively reduced its potential failure
mode risk. Conclusion The application of FMEA theory can effectively reduce the safety risks in the use of medical equipment, but
it also has certain limitations, requires managers to continuously sum up experiences in practical applications and use them in
combination with other management tools.
