Abstract:This article described in detail the case of the humidification renovation project of the cleaning air conditioning system
in Huilongguan branch of our hospital. Firstly, the problems existing in the humidification equipment of the original clean air
conditioning system in the hospital were summarized. By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of various mature humidifiers
of air conditioners and the characteristics of the equipments, the necessity of the current humidification system reformation was
demonstrated, combining with the hospital configuration conditions. The dry steam humidification method was suitable for the needs
of the hospital. In this paper, we described in detail the design process and construction conditions of the humidification retrofit, and
carefully compared the operating status and energy consumption data before and after the transformation. We obtaine the following
conclusions: steam humidification operation was stable, with characteristics of rapid humidification, simple control and simple
maintenance; dry steam humidification was clean and sterile, which is conducive to the control of the medical environment; it does
not affect the sterilizing gas supply, saves water and electricity, avoids waste, and is more energy-efficient than other humidification
methods; it is especially suitable for the area with bad water quality and a long humidification season.
