Abstract:Cardiovascular disease is a serious threat to human life, thus the study on the cardiovascular system disease is of great
social significance. Besides, the study of cardiovascular system has high risks and costs, also restrained by ethics. In this paper
a physic model of brachial artery was designed. Based on this model, two experiments were performed to analyze the influence
between sebum thickness of arm and noninvasive blood pressure, and to evaluate how the cuff pressure influence the noninvasive
collection of brachial pulse wave. Finally, the validity of the model was demonstrated by experiments. The proposed model can
simulate the blood flow in brachial artery and provide a research platform for researchers.
